Walter P. (Chip) Evans, IV
Chip Evans grew up in Dallas, Texas and attended Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas as an undergraduate. Chip graduated from Southwestern in 1994 with a degree in political science and next attended law school at St. Mary's University School of Law, graduating in 1997. Following a stint practicing medical malpractice defense with Burford & Ryburn, L.L.P. in Dallas, Chip joined Guy in 1998.
In 2007, Chip was named a "Texas Rising Star" by Texas Monthly and Law & Politics. "Rising Stars" are chosen by their peers as being among the top up-and-coming lawyers (40 years old or younger, or in practice 10 years or less) in the state. Only 2.5 percent of Texas attorneys receive this honor each year.
Chip is certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
